Fraud & Abuse Policy

1. Prohibited Fraudulent and Abusive Activity

You may not use Lonecto to engage in, promote, facilitate, or assist fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.

This includes activity involving:

• Scams or fraudulent schemes;
• Fake businesses or stores;
• Fake or misleading product listings;
• Impersonation;
• Phishing or credential theft;
• Malware or harmful links;
• Counterfeit or stolen goods;
• Identity theft;
• Financial fraud;
• Deceptive promotions or giveaways;
• Spam;
• Artificial manipulation of platform activity or analytics; or
• Any other activity intended to deceive, exploit, harm, or unfairly take advantage of another person.

2. Fraudulent Products and Listings

Users who showcase or promote physical products through Lonecto must provide reasonably accurate information.

You must not:

• List products that do not exist;
• Intentionally misrepresent a product;
• Use misleading or deceptive product images;
• Advertise a product at a price you do not intend to honor;
• Falsely claim that a product is authentic;
• Promote counterfeit or stolen goods;
• Claim to be an authorized seller when you are not;
• Create a fake store or business;
• Collect money through fraudulent means; or
• Use product listings to deceive or exploit visitors.

Lonecto does not process payments or act as the seller of products listed by users. However, we may take action against users who misuse the platform to facilitate fraudulent activity.

3. Impersonation

You may not impersonate or falsely represent another person, creator, business, organization, or brand.

This includes:

• Creating an account pretending to belong to another person;
• Using another person's name, image, or identity without authorization in a misleading way;
• Creating a page that falsely represents a business or organization;
• Falsely claiming a partnership, endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation; or
• Using branding, logos, or trademarks to deceive visitors.

Accounts created for parody, commentary, or fan purposes must not be presented in a way that is likely to mislead users about their identity or affiliation.

4. Phishing and Credential Theft

You must not use Lonecto to obtain sensitive information through deception.

Prohibited activities include:

• Creating or linking to fake login pages;
• Attempting to collect usernames or passwords;
• Attempting to obtain financial information through deception;
• Sending visitors to phishing websites;
• Using misleading links to steal personal information; or
• Encouraging users to disclose sensitive information through fraudulent means.

Any account, link, or content associated with phishing or credential theft may be removed immediately.

5. Malicious and Harmful Links

You must not publish or promote links that contain or distribute:

• Malware;
• Viruses;
• Spyware;
• Ransomware;
• Malicious software;
• Harmful scripts;
• Unauthorized downloads; or
• Other content designed to compromise devices, accounts, networks, or systems.

You must also not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities or interfere with the security of Lonecto or its users.

6. Fake Giveaways and Deceptive Promotions

Promotions, giveaways, discounts, and offers must not be deceptive.

You must not:

• Create a fake giveaway;
• Falsely claim that a prize is available;
• Misrepresent the terms of a promotion;
• Require payment or sensitive information through deceptive means;
• Falsely claim that Lonecto sponsors or endorses a promotion; or
• Use a promotion primarily to collect information or money fraudulently.

Users are responsible for ensuring that promotions comply with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Spam and Unwanted Activity

You may not use Lonecto to distribute or facilitate spam.

This includes:

• Repeatedly posting misleading links;
• Creating accounts for spam or deceptive purposes;
• Using automated systems to generate abusive activity;
• Artificially generating clicks, visits, or engagement;
• Manipulating analytics;
• Attempting to bypass platform limits or restrictions; or
• Using Lonecto in a manner that disrupts or negatively affects other users or the platform.

8. Account Abuse and Circumvention

You may not attempt to avoid enforcement actions or abuse Lonecto's account systems.

This includes:

• Creating new accounts to evade a suspension or termination;
• Using another person's account without permission;
• Creating accounts using false information for deceptive purposes;
• Attempting to bypass security or authentication measures;
• Accessing another user's account without authorization; or
• Interfering with the operation or security of the platform.

9. External Websites and Third-Party Services

Lonecto allows users to link to external websites and services.

If you publish an external link, you are responsible for ensuring that you do not knowingly direct visitors to fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful destinations.

You must not use Lonecto to direct visitors to:

• Scam websites;
• Fake stores;
• Phishing pages;
• Fraudulent payment requests;
• Malware or harmful downloads;
• Websites designed to steal information; or
• Other illegal or deceptive services.

Lonecto does not control all external websites and services, but we may disable or remove links that violate our policies.

10. Cash on Delivery and External Transactions

Some Lonecto users may arrange orders or transactions through Instagram, WhatsApp, external websites, or cash on delivery.

Lonecto does not process, collect, hold, or guarantee payments or transactions between buyers and sellers.

However, users must not use these methods to:

• Deceive buyers;
• Arrange fraudulent deliveries;
• Send products materially different from what was advertised;
• Intentionally fail to fulfill legitimate orders;
• Collect money through deceptive means; or
• Otherwise engage in fraudulent commercial activity.

Sellers are responsible for their own business practices, products, communications, delivery arrangements, and compliance with applicable laws.

11. Reporting Fraud or Abuse

If you believe that a Lonecto account, Bio Card, product listing, link, or other content is involved in fraud, abuse, impersonation, phishing, or another violation of this policy, you may report it to us.

When possible, include:

• A link to the relevant Lonecto page, account, product, or content;
• A description of the suspected issue;
• Any relevant screenshots or supporting information;
• Details about the suspected fraudulent or abusive activity; and
• Your contact information if you would like us to respond.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that content or an account will be removed. We may review the available information and take action where appropriate.

12. How Lonecto May Respond

When we receive a report or identify suspected fraud or abuse, we may investigate and take appropriate action.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

• Remove or restrict content;
• Disable a suspicious link;
• Remove a product listing;
• Limit access to certain features;
• Temporarily suspend an account;
• Permanently terminate an account; or
• Take other action reasonably necessary to protect Lonecto, its users, or others.

Where appropriate and permitted by applicable law, we may take action with or without prior notice.

In certain circumstances, we may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations, respond to valid legal requests, investigate security incidents, or protect the rights, safety, and security of Lonecto, its users, or others.

13. No Guarantee of Fraud Prevention

While Lonecto may take reasonable steps to detect, prevent, and respond to fraudulent or abusive activity, we cannot guarantee that all fraudulent or harmful activity will be detected or prevented.

Users and visitors should exercise caution when interacting with unfamiliar accounts, products, sellers, links, and external services.

In particular, before completing a transaction outside Lonecto, users should independently evaluate the seller, product, website, payment method, and other relevant information.

14. False Reports

Reports submitted to Lonecto should be made honestly and in good faith.

You must not knowingly submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive reports against another user, business, or account.

We may reject reports that are unsupported, abusive, or submitted for the purpose of harassment.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Fraud & Abuse Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Lonecto, our security practices, applicable laws, or the types of risks affecting the platform.

When changes are made, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Lonecto after an updated policy becomes effective may be subject to the revised policy.
