Do these QR codes expire?+
No. The code is generated on your device and encodes your content directly, so it works forever and doesn't depend on our servers. Nothing to renew, nothing to break.
Can I use them commercially?+
Yes. Codes you make here are free to use anywhere — packaging, menus, signage, business cards, ads. There's no watermark and no attribution required.
Will a logo stop my code from scanning?+
Not if there's enough error correction. QR codes can lose part of their data and still be read, so adding a logo automatically raises error correction to High. The studio warns you if the logo grows past what can be recovered.
What size should I print a QR code?+
A good rule is that the code should be about a tenth of the scanning distance — roughly 2cm for arm's length, and much larger for a poster read from across a room. Shorter content means fewer modules, which scans more reliably at small sizes.
Should I export SVG or PNG?+
SVG for anything printed — it's vector, so it stays perfectly sharp at any size. PNG for screens, social posts and documents. JPEG only when you specifically need a solid background.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?+
No. Everything runs in your browser. WiFi passwords, contact details and links never touch a server, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
