Is this invoice generator really free?+
Yes. No account, no trial, and no limit on how many invoices you make. In return, every page carries a small line at the foot: Built with Lonecto · lonecto.com. That is the whole of it — nothing is stamped across your figures, nothing covers the page, and no feature on this page is held back behind a payment. There is a separate bulk generator that makes hundreds of invoices from a spreadsheet and costs credits, but it takes nothing away from this one.
Do you store my invoices or my clients?+
No. The invoice is built in your browser and never sent anywhere, and your customer's details and the line items are not saved at all — not on our servers, not anywhere. Your own business details, logo and payment instructions are remembered so you do not retype them: on your device if you are signed out, and with your account if you are signed in, so the invoice numbering follows you from a laptop to a phone.
Can I take payment through it?+
No, and that is deliberate. It prints your payment instructions — bank transfer, IBAN, JazzCash, Easypaisa, cash on delivery, whatever you use — and your customer pays you directly. Nothing is processed here and no fee is taken.
How do I add tax like GST or VAT?+
Set the tax name and the rate. Tax is charged on the amount after any discount, which is what most tax authorities require: you owe tax on what you actually charged, not on a figure the customer never paid.
Which currencies does it support?+
Eighty-nine, including PKR, USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SAR, INR and BDT. Each is written the way it is actually written — the yen has no decimal places, the Kuwaiti dinar has three — and none of them are ever converted into another, so no exchange rate can go out of date on a document you have already sent.
Can I use my own invoice numbers?+
Yes. Type any scheme — INV-0001, LON-2026-0044, 2026/14 — and the next invoice continues it, keeping the padding so 0009 is followed by 0010 rather than 10.
Will it work on my phone?+
Yes. Some mobile browsers will not display a PDF inside a page, so the preview may be blank there; the download button always works and gives you the same file.
