    Getting started

    Choosing and changing your username

Your username is your address. Here is how it works and what changing it costs you.

Your username decides your public address. If you choose haroon, your card is at lonecto.com/@haroon.

    What makes a valid username

    • Letters, numbers, dots, dashes and underscores.
    • It must be unique — if someone already has it, you will be told while you type.
    • A small set of names is reserved because they collide with pages on the site itself, such as login, dashboard, shop and admin.

    Changing it later

You can change your username from your card settings. Your card moves to the new address immediately.

The old address stops working the moment you change it. Anything already printed, posted or pinned that points at the old one will break, so change it before you promote it rather than after.

If a card is taken down for breaking the rules, the username attached to it is released and becomes available again for someone else to claim.
