Photos
- Photograph the actual item you will send, not a manufacturer's render.
- Daylight against a plain wall beats a ring light against clutter.
- Show scale — a hand, a coin, anything that gives size.
- Show the flaws on a second-hand item. It costs you fewer returns than it costs you sales.
Descriptions
- Lead with what it is, then size, material and condition.
- Say what is included, and what is not.
- Give a realistic delivery time rather than the best case.
Your description is a representation to the buyer. Photos of goods you do not have, prices you do not honour, or claims about origin or authenticity you cannot back are grounds for removal under the Acceptable Use Policy — and the buyer paid you directly, so a dispute is between you and them.
