Why your own visits are not counted

Opening your own card while signed in does not move your numbers, and that is deliberate.

When you open your own card while signed in to your account, the visit is not recorded.

This is on purpose. Most creators check their own card several times a day, and counting that would make the number that matters — how many other people came — impossible to read.

If you open your card signed out, in a private window or on another device, that visit does count. It is a real visit from the system's point of view, because it cannot tell it is you.
