Every public card carries a report option. Use it if you find a scam, an impersonation, stolen photos, counterfeit goods or anything else that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Open the card and choose to report it.
- Say what is wrong, as specifically as you can.
- Send it. The report reaches the moderation queue with the card attached.
What can happen next
- Nothing, if the report does not hold up.
- Content is removed or restricted.
- The account is suspended.
- The account is terminated permanently.
Which one depends on how serious it is, whether it has happened before, and what harm it is doing. When a card is taken down, the username on it is released and can be claimed by someone else.
Reporting a copyright or trademark problem is covered separately by the Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy, which sets out what a valid notice has to contain.
