Answer "what do you charge?"
once.
Publish your services, your packages and what they cost. The client ticks what they want and watches the total add itself up — then you send a link or a PDF. Free, no account, and nothing about your pricing is uploaded anywhere.
What is this card for?
It changes the suggestions below, and nothing you have already typed.
Template
Card details
Where to find you
Your accounts, and how many people are on them. A brand reading a price per post is really asking "per post to how many" — leave the number blank if it is not the point.
How clients reach you
Add as many as you use. WhatsApp, email, Telegram, LINE, KakaoTalk, a booking link — whichever your clients actually open.
What you offer
Shows as Rs 25,000.00
Shows as Rs 4,000.00 / hour
Build it from what you already sell
If you have a Lonecto shop, your products can be copied straight onto a rate card — name, description and price — instead of being typed a second time. That needs your catalogue, so it lives in the dashboard. Create an account and you also get a permanent address for this card at lonecto.com/rates/you, and clients' quote requests arriving in one place.

Editing, by the hour
For work that does not fit a fixed price.
The whole card is inside that link — nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored here. Anyone you send it to sees exactly this. Your work is also kept in this browser so you can come back to it; sign in if you would rather it survived a lost laptop.
Why this one
It adds up as they choose
A client ticks what they want, sets quantities, adds the rush fee — and the total assembles itself. No emailing back and forth to find out what a package comes to.
Prices that are not always a number
Fixed, from, per hour, per day, per unit, custom quote, contact for pricing. Two of those publish no figure on purpose, and the total says so instead of quietly under-counting.
A link with the card inside it
Share it and nothing is uploaded — the whole card travels in the URL fragment, which browsers never send to a server. Or download it as a PDF and attach that.
No account, no upload
It runs in your browser. Your rates are saved on this device so you can come back to them, and they are not sent anywhere, to us or to anybody else.
Eighty-nine currencies
Rupees, dollars, dirhams, pounds. Yen prints without decimal places because yen has none. Nothing is converted, so no exchange rate goes stale on a card you already sent.
Add-ons, delivery and usage rights
The parts of a quote that cause arguments later: how many revisions, how many days, what the licence covers, and what the rush fee actually costs.
Questions
What is a rate card?+
A single page that says what you charge. Instead of writing a bespoke quote for every enquiry, you publish your services and their prices once and send the same link to everyone. It answers the question most clients open with — 'what do you charge?' — before they have to ask it.
Is this rate card generator free?+
Yes. No account, no trial, no limit on how many you make, and no paid tier to upgrade to. In return the PDF carries a small line at the foot: Built with Lonecto · lonecto.com. Nothing is stamped across your prices and no feature is held back behind a payment.
Do I need an account?+
Not to build one, share it or download it. An account adds three things that cannot work without one: a permanent address at lonecto.com/rates/yourname, quote requests from clients arriving in your dashboard, and copying your existing shop products onto the card instead of retyping them.
How should I price a rate card as a freelancer?+
Most people publish a small number of clearly-named services rather than an exhaustive list, put the thing they most want to sell first, and use 'from' pricing for work whose scope genuinely varies. Add-ons are where rush delivery, extra revisions and raw files belong — they are the parts clients ask about after agreeing a price, and pricing them up front stops the conversation reopening.
Can I show a price range or hide my prices?+
Yes. 'Starting from' publishes an opening figure, and 'custom quote' or 'contact for pricing' publishes none at all. If a client ticks something with no figure, the estimate says it is a floor rather than a total — it never invents a number you did not offer.
Where are my rates stored?+
In this browser, on this device, and nowhere else. That means they survive closing the tab and do not survive a lost laptop or a cleared cache. Signing in is what makes a card that outlives the device it was made on.
Can I take payment or deposits through it?+
No. It states prices; it does not process money. A client who wants to go ahead contacts you, and you invoice them — the invoice generator on this site makes the invoice, free and in the same way.
Will the link still work if I change my prices?+
A link you have already sent carries the card as it was when you copied it, because the card is inside the link rather than looked up. That is a feature when you have quoted somebody, and a nuisance when you want one address that stays current — which is what publishing to /rates/yourname is for.
